1st of May 2019 marked the beginning of the New Emperors rein in Japan - Reiwa
To celebrate this event, we are bringing to Manchester truly Royal sake form 330 year old sake brewery Hinomaru Jozo in Akita Prefecture.
Hinomaru, describes traditional Japanese folding fan opened to reveal red rising sun.
1870 the rising sun image and name Hinomaru became the official reference for national flag of Japan.
Akita prefecture [North/West coast of Japan] where brewery is placed, offers most pristine environment and abundance of delicate, soft, low mineral water - ideal for sake making.
Hinomaru surely produces sake that is ‘alive’ with the awesome beauty of surrounding environment, pride, sincerity and devotion of every artisan, who was part of the process.
One sip and you will know without a doubt that Hinomaru sake is a timeless agricultural product; the distilled essence of their rich cultural heritage.
This up coming Wednesday, not only we would like to invite you to have a sip or two, but also to take an opportunity and meet managing director of Hinomaru Jozo - Mr. Juji Nakajima.
